Boiler pressure being low is nothing uncommon in a boiler especially if you haven't used the boiler in a while. The boiler pressure might drop for a number of different reasons and not all are serious. 

If you feel comfortable doing so and feel confident in what you are doing then you can increase your boiler pressure pretty easily. See below. 

If you do increase your boiler pressure and nothing is happening then stop what you are doing and stop increasing the boiler pressure. Your boiler might have a leak which would require professional help. 

Please don't over-increase the boiler pressure as well. We recommend your boiler pressure to sit between 1.5 - 2. Please always check the malefactors manual for the correct guidance.
